Daddy
I stopped to see this man.
Many years before me had he been born.
His hair red and his body tan
And his skin weathered and worn.
His hands stayed dry and cracked
And body tired and worn out.
In his work though he never slacked.
Will he ever quit? This I doubt. Like this man,
I could never be for he is the greatest man I will ever see.
Gifts
There are gifts more precious than silver or gold, my friend,
First and foremost is the Savior’s love, which knows no end,
Second is the love of a good heart that comes from an honest wife,
Who will stay true to her husband through the trials of his life
Or a heart full of love beating deep inside of that man
Which constantly shows his wife humility and compassion.
Third of all is the love, shown by that person’s family
Which surely will hold that person up through difficulty
Last but not least, the love shown by a true friend
Who will be by your side from beginning to the end!
But the greatest of these is the first gift I mentioned
Which can only be complimented by the gift of salvation!
THE BEGINNING OF THE FUTURE
For I was beat and on my back bore a cross
To gain man’s soul not to contribute it a loss
I am proud of the ones who bear the cross day by day
No matter what others might do or say
for in hte end, they will surely be blest
But Eternal Damnation in Hell will be for the rest.
So Seek My face and forgiveness this I plea
For I wish to see your face in ETERNITY!
Giving of Ourselves
Give to those that have a need or thirst
For their priorities are first
Give to those hungered and cold
For though Gods word this we are told
As we give to these, never look for a return
For these should be gifts not profits to earn
If a gift is returned for these actions turn it down
For the gift we should be looking for is a Heavenly crown.
Trusting Through Trial and Error
As we travel this life day by day
We are uncertain what will come our way
But all we have to do is trust that He is near
And He will help us and our troubles dissappear.
Just put your trust in Him with everything you do
No matter what may trouble your heart
He will bring to you a brand new start.
When I feel alone and every one so far a way
I listen deep within and hear a little voice say
Feelings of fright you should not bestow
For I am with you everywhere you go.
Benefits of Cross Bearing
Every day there is a cross we must bear
Along with others problems we are to share.
For the time of giving is at hand
To this dark and sin oppressed land.
It is no wonder why people have changed their ways
for the Bible says this will happen in the final days
It will not be long before the Father will return once again
Where He will gather His children where beside Him they will reign.
THE COMFORTER
There is a love which knows no end
The One who gives it is a very close friend
From the Comforter in this land
Though see Him you cannot, He always lends a hand
By your side He will never leave
In His might put your faith and believe
For He can helpp you through the worst of times
And put behind you your vilest of crimes.
The Great Cat
Being filled with majesty and power
The Great Cat knows you each and every hour
For He watches with great care and love over all.
For He sees the future of the world as a whole.
He reaches down to those who are low
And brings them up to where they might know
That there is someone greater in control
No matter the price of the toll.
He is always there to give a hand
When you are alone to make a stand
For what you know is right.
All you have to do is trust in HIs might.
Swimming with the Dolphins
I stand here on the sand
Longing to hold your hand
and as the waves crash to the shore
My heart longs for you even more
I can see the joy in your heart
As you are surrounded by God’s art
You splash about and dive down
Again to hear the dolphins sound
And I long for you to be beside Me
YOu emerge from the ocean
To be beside me once again
I cherish these days I have with you
And I long to be here with you too.
Thank you God for my wife
Thank you God that she is in my life.
